Past Projects - UNIT 7 Safety

Since our first project working on Academy Award-winning movie 1917, we have been involved in a number of high-profile shoots. We have provided rope safety and white water safety and rescue, as well as location recce and consultation services. Take a look at some of our past projects below.

The Witcher

Season 3, Netflix

Our team was once again on set of the Witcher – this time Season 3 – to provide steep-ground and water safety for the cast and crew across locations in the North of England.

Dan And Helen’s Pennine Adventure

Season 1, Channel 5

It was a pleasure to work with Dan Walker and Helen Skelton as they made their way up the Pennines, experiencing lots of adventures on the way.

The Lark, Netflix

Working on another exciting project with Netflix, including location scouting and recce; technical recce; safety consultancy on all rope and water aspects; health and safety consultancy.

American project

Work included risk assessment and RAMS; safety equipment provision and hire of dry suits, harnesses, boats and other ancillary equipment; porterage; logistics.

Confidential project

Work included river-bed survey; rope rigging and safety; water safety and rescue; POV filming at water level (including designing and adapting a water craft); access platform supply and fit; stunt rigging.

NETFLIX PROJECT

Our team was on set for a Netflix project to assist with location recce, risk assessment, rope rigging and working at height rescue. We also assisted the Greens team in set preparation.

TRUE NORTH RIVERS

Assisting True North in their new rivers series on the River Tees. We provided site recce, site risk assessment, logistics and white water safety.

The Witcher

Season 2, Netflix

UNIT 7 provided rope safety and rescue, white water safety and rescue, location recce, consultation and on-site safety advice for filming of parts of The Witcher on the River Tees in the North Pennines.
